Menu Spotlight: Ubuntu Restaurant & Yoga
posted by Mighty Staff
Ubuntu has become quite the destination. The San Francisco Chronicle's Michael Bauer proclaimed, "Ubuntu takes vegetarian cuisine to new heights"....and now city dwellers are making the pilgrimage to this downtown Napa restaurant & yoga studio. The cuisine is contemporary vegetarian, and many of the ingredients are sourced locally by chef Jeremy Fox (previously of Manresa).
Here's a look at one of their dinner menus. Don't get your heart set on this particular version though - the actual menu you'll likely encounter will reflect seasonal ingredients.

Beets and Asian Pears, you say? That sounds like a really yummy combo. It might have to be a side dish/garnish for the soy-glazed duck that is tomorrow night's dinner smackdown.
